The First Official Anthem Of The 21st Century
"A Tribute To America"
A 21st CENTURY ANTHEM
Rationale
As history often repeats itself, this 21st Century Anthem comes at a time when our nation is faced with an ongoing
war against terrorism...
"A Tribute to America - A 21st Century Anthem"
Written shortly after 9/11, "A Tribute To America" has become an American treasure for the 21st Century and is quickly gaining status as a National Icon for enhancing our National Morale as a Nation as as well as serving the purpose of creating awareness for Homeland Security through song.
This 21st Century Anthem is the sole possessor of eight Congressional Records for the years 2001, 2002 and 2003, noted for its incomparable lyrics and meaning, and has been so consistantly acclaimed and honored by the United States Congress together with its author, Ann S. Miller and recording artist Ted Miller on November 29, 2001, April 10, 2002, October 1, 2002, October 10, 2002, November 14, 2002, January 28, 2003, April 10, 2003 and most recently again on May 7, 2003.
"It is an Anthem for all Americans" as quoted by Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida, as she first presented it on the floor of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives on November 29, 2001. This historical day, in turn, has led to the creation of a national movement that has uplifted the spirits of the American people throughout the country with its strong and powerful meaning. Most recently, U.S. Congressman John Sweeney of New York, on the very same day that our President George W. Bush addressed our nation with his "State of the Union" speach, January 28, 2003, discussing our current efforts to combat terrorism, Sweeney entered the lyrics of "A Tribute To America - A 21st Century Anthem" into the Congressional Record and once again benchmarked history for now the sixth time. He stated "these lyrics stand as a monument to the pride of the American people."
CREATING AWARENESS FOR HOMELAND SECURITY
As quoted by Secretary Tom Ridge, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in regards to "A Tribute To America - A 21st Century Anthem", he stated that, "the lyrics embody this organizations resolve to secure this country against those that seek to destroy the 'strong, proud, brave, bold' lives of Americans."
With the creation of the Department of Homeland Security having been the most significant transformation of the U.S. Government in over the past half century, and as a result of the September 11 attacks on our nation, our lives have changed forever. We have been forced to supersede evolution and proceed with immediate innovation, taking every step necessary to create a new national strategy to rid such evil forces of terrorism that seek to destroy us. Thus, what has historically been done in the past through song is beginning to be paralleled once again today with "A Tribute To America - A 21st Century Anthem" together with the continued confidence of our modern day Congress to protect and enhance the National Morale of our country, a very key component to our national strategy, critical infrastructure and well-being as a nation.
This 21st Century Anthem boasts the lyrics and meaning necessary to continue to enhance our unity as one Nation under God following what may be only the beginning of any future random threats or acts of terrorism on this very beloved soil, a soil so rich in culture from around the world all united together as one, still searching for, at this very day and age, peace throughout the entire world. America's Life Line Foundation, [a 501c3 non profit organization] will continue to enhance National Morale throughout America as well as continue to uplift the spirits of our troops overseas. America's Life Line Foundation together with "A Tribute To America - A 21st Century Anthem" will be able to assist the Department of Homeland Security with such key functions as preparing for, responding to and recovering from terrorist threats or attacks by helping to sustain and continue to build our National Morale. For it is National Morale that remains the crux, the underlying component of our Homeland Security System, and, most certainly, it is the critical infrastructure behind the critical infrastructure of the United States of America.
