Ann S Miller
On September 14, 2001 Ann S Miller, a very patriotic American born of Greek parents who immigrated to America in the early 1900's, decided to put her feelings into words, by writing a song, an anthem for the 21st Century.
As the rest of the nation worked through it's grief over the September 11 attacks by raising money and donating blood, Ann S Miller, a native of New York, began writing in earnest as she felt she could best serve our country byt writing an Anthem that would help to lift the spirits of the American people.
Ann Miller shortly thereafter contacted her son Ted Miller, a rising star in the world of music, who happened to be in New York preparing for his upcoming album. He immediately put everything on hold and returned to South Florida and together they produced "A Tribute to America - A 21st Century Anthem" which features over 150 singers and musicians from The Gulliver Preparatory Chorus and The New World School of the Arts Orchestra.
They chose the children to be a part of the original recording because they represent the youth and future of America. Who better than the children of this great nation to proclaim that:
"We're America"
