"A Patriotic Event"
On September 11, 2002 we hosted a powerful and uplifting commemoration at the James L. Knight center to honor the Armed Forces, Police Officers, Firefighters, and all men and women of uniform. We featured 1,400 school children performing along with their bands, orchestras, and choruses. Also featured were guest appearances by local and international artists.

A very special event on Veterans Day, November 11, 2004  honoring and showing Our gratitude and support to all our hospitalized Veterans and military men and women from abroad for their outstanding and selfless-service to our nation. It was truly great event to lift their spirits and morale. Guest speaker was Brigadier General Ricardo Aponte.
