Many have requested us to post a copy of the speech Ted miller, gave at the Gold Star Mothers National Banquet, in Washington, DC, Saturday, September 27, 2008

It is as follows ---->>>>

I am proud to join all of you here today and honor all our veterans and military men and women who served this great country of ours in defending our freedom.

We here today are so grateful for all you have done and continue and to do, and extend to all of you our everlasting gratitude.

Your missions were unbelievable and you all have endured so many obstacles: Long separations from your family and friends and so many missed holidays with them, as well as the birth of your children. You baked in the hot sun, in deserts and jungles, had to endure sub-zero temperatures at times and strong winds, lost limbs and most sadly lost lives, and despite all the overwhelming forces and various injuries, you still stood proud and brave for your country. You have done the extraordinary in unimaginable circumstance’s all for our freedom.

And we must not forget our military men and women following in your footsteps at this very moment who are standing guard for our freedom and security from bases throughout the USA, to missions around the world.

To all our veterans and military men and women, here today and throughout the world I must say there are no words that could possibly express just what your devotion and sacrifices have meant to our nation. We are a grateful nation and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We thank you for your patriotism, we thank you for your pride and service to our country. We thank you all for being heroes.

God bless all of you for being here, God Bless our veterans, and God Bless America.
